หลังานเปิดตัว iPad Air และ iPad mini 2 แอปเปิลได้ปล่อย OS X Mavericks และ iOS 7.0.3 และทยอยปล่อยอัพเดต แอพพลิเคชั่นเพื่อรองรับ iOS 7 และ OS X Mavericks ให้เข้ากันได้มากขึ้นไม่ว่าจะเป็น แอพชุด iLife และ iWork ที่แจกฟรีสำหรับผู้ซื้อสินค้า Mac หรือ iOS Device ใหม่ นอกจากนั้น ยังมีแอพเสียเงินอย่าง OS X Server, Apple Remote Desktop 3.7, Aperture 3.5 และแอพฟรีอย่าง Podcasts, iTunes Movie Trailer (Trailer เก่า) และ Find my iPhone, iBook Author, Apple Configurator, ก็ได้รับการอัพเดต พร้อมดีไซน์ใหม่ให้เข้ากับ iOS 7 ด้วยเช่นกัน

แอปเปิลยังออก Safari ตัวอัพเดตให้กับ OS X Mountain Lion อีกด้วย สำหรับ Safari 6.1 นั้นเป็นอัพเดตสำหรับ OS X Mountain Lion เพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่ ๆ หลายอย่าง ส่วน Mavericks นั้นจะมาพร้อมกับ Safari 7.0

• One-click bookmarking. Just click the (+) button to the left of the Smart Search Field to add a webpage to your Reading List. Click and hold to add it to the Favorites Bar or to your Bookmarks.
• Safari Power Saver. Increase energy efficiency by playing only the plug-in content you want to see.
• Third-party data blocking. By default, Safari blocks third-party websites from leaving cookies and other types of data that could be used to track your browsing.
• Built-in Yandex Search. Leading Russian search engine Yandex is now an option for Russian users.
